Sam has over 15 years of experience in the roofing and home exterior industry, and he has been employed at Bone Dry Roofing for 11 of those years. His daily responsibilities involve diagnosing roof leaks and completing sales. A big part of his job is also customer care. Sam’s favorite part of his job is the opportunity he is afforded to feel confident in what he offers in a field he enjoys.
Outside of work, Sam spends his time wrestling with his two boys, playing guitar, and getting involved in other outdoor activities!
Prior to the work, this home had sustained some damage to its roof near a wall of siding, the shingles didn't even match accordingly. This wall is what we would call a "dead valley", where the garage meets the house. This "dead valley" was completely replaced and renewed by adding an ice and water shield underlayment, new trim board, new shingles, and new flashing. This section of roof is now entirely new.
This customer had a skylight that was jut persistently leaking and causing damage. They called out our repair crew to take a closer look and upon further inspection, our crew gave the customer two options, based on price point. The customer chose the more expensive route, which got down to the root of the problem, past all of the layers of "quick fixes" and really made sure that this problem was taken care of! Thanks guys!
Before the exterior was transformed, part of this home was in need of shingle replacement and a chimney repair. As a result of the damage, all of the decking on the roof needed replaced, as well as all damaged shingles. Ice and water shield was also added underneath the new shingles. Afterwards, the flashing around the chimney was replaced.
