On Wednesday, the Bone Dry Commercial Division was invited to attend the Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) annual trade show and casino event held at the Ritz Charles in Carmel, IN. This was a great opportunity for us to meet other exciting businesses in the area and have a little fun. I tagged along with our Commercial Roofing Division Manager, Kerry Quarles. Kerry spent a lot of time answering questions, handing out free swag and even hosting an iPad Mini giveaway drawing for the attendees. The smartest move of the night was grabbing a table closet to the buffet line. The Ritz Charles catered some amazing food and I spent most of the night going back through the line while Kerry did all of the work. We weren’t the only ones giving away awesome prizes. Most of the vendors held some sort of raffle and attendees were able to gather game pieces at each table they visited that they could later use to play games at the casino tables to win more prizes. BOMA International is a primary source of information on office building development, leasing, building operating costs, energy consumption patterns, local and national building codes, legislation, occupancy statistics and technological developments. Throughout BOMA International’s 100-year history, its goal has always focused on actively and responsibly representing and promoting the interests of the commercial real estate industry through effective leadership and advocacy, through the collection, analysis and dissemination of information, and through professional development. Bone Dry has maintained a relationship with the organization and its partners to help serve the Indy area’s commercial roofing needs.
