First Hail Storm of 2013

Ann Keil of Fox 59 came out to talk with us while we inspected the roof of the Indy Tire that sustained hail damage from the storm. We showed viewers what hail damage looks like (even saw some hail damage to vehicles) and talked about working with your insurance agent to fulfill any claims.Heavy hail storms are never a good event for homeowners to experience. This past week on April 10, the Midwest welcomed its first big hail storm of Spring 2013. Most of our offices saw some action, but our Indianapolis office was by far the busiest with calls of hail damage coming in from all around the city. Bone Dry has approximately 60 trucks on the road tending to emergency leak repairs and providing free estimates for hail. We’ve seen everything from very minor damage up to severe damage that will require a completely new roof, gutters & siding. Our staff and crews are working hard to stay on top of all of the calls coming in for free hail inspections. Though most damage seemed to his the north side areas around Carmel & Noblesville, we’ve received calls from all over central Indiana. We do offer 24/7 emergency repair if you have an active leak. We also provide free inspections for homeowners who think they may have hail damage; it’s never a bad idea to have your roof checked. Even very minor damage can turn into a big issue down the line.

Hurts More That Just Roofs

Your roof isn’t the only thing that is exposed to potential hail damage. Your gutters, windows and siding can sustain substantial damage as well. Bone Dry’s Interior & Exterior divisions offer solutions for these things as well. Unfortunately, there’s not much you can do to stop hail. But you certainly should have it inspected if you were in the line of the storm to see if there has been any damage and to fix that damage if necessary before it leads to a much bigger issue.
