Detailed Roof Repair Project in Fishers, Indiana

Challenge

When our crews arrived on the scene at this job there was a tarp that was already covering a section on the roof that had blown off and damaged shingles. Due to the severity of the damage, the underlying decking was left open to all of the weather that it is just not built to absorb. The moisture exposure, in combination with other factors had caused part of the underlying wood decking to rot, which our crew was able to address once they investigated further.

Solution

Our crew began by removing the existing tarp upon arrival. Next, they proceeded to remove the particular shingles that had been damaged which is when the true amount of damage to the decking was revealed. At this time they calculated the amount of decking that they would be needing to replace in order to make sure that the wood rot did not continue to persist. They replaced that decking and then new shingles on top to make the roof look just as good as new!
