About Gene Judd

Gene Judd is the owner and President of Bone Dry Roofing. He got started in the roofing business as a kid working with his parents and has remained in the industry ever since. Gene opened Bone Dry Roofing in 1989, with just a truck and a garage office, not long after graduating from Indiana University. Today, Bone Dry has grown to include nine branches across the Midwest.

Gene is hands-on in all aspects of his company. He runs sales appointments and production jobs, answers phones, and completes job inspections – he has no problem jumping in wherever he’s needed. He loves the roofing industry and, in particular, serving his customers and solving customers’ problems. Interacting with customers and watching his team members grow both personally and professionally are some of his favorite parts of being a business owner.

Outside of work, Gene likes to spend time with his family. He also enjoys traveling, fishing, and collecting memorabilia from Coca Cola, Pepsi, and the brewing industry.

They've done multiple repair and replacement jobs including a flat roof replacement on a 3-story, 120 year old building and a shingle roof replacement on the porch roof. Always responsive and reliable with quality work and they finish in a timely man..

Bone Dry did an amazing job repairing the leaky roof over my screened in porch. They were very easy to work with and communicated throughout the job. New roof came out amazing and sorry for the pun but my porch is now bone dry!..
