Challenge
Adoon Smith came out there to inspect the roof on a house our customer was buying. While there, he discovered that some of the vent fans weren’t working. It was decided that new solar powered fans would be installed. We also recommended more intake vents throughout soffits to ensure longevity.
Solution
On the back of home we removed 5 box vents and install 2 solar powered fans. The next step was to remove the 3 box vents on the main home roof and 2 on garage roof, then fill with new 1×8. We installed solar-powered vents in the old power vent hole and cut in over the garage roof. Once we finished there, we took the time to replace 2 – 3″ lead pipe boots with plastic neoprene boots. We installed ice and water shield all the way around and re-shingled properly. The final step was to clean and remove debris from repair areas!
