About Gene Judd

Gene Judd is the owner and President of Bone Dry Roofing. He got started in the roofing business as a kid working with his parents and has remained in the industry ever since. Gene opened Bone Dry Roofing in 1989, with just a truck and a garage office, not long after graduating from Indiana University. Today, Bone Dry has grown to include nine branches across the Midwest.

Gene is hands-on in all aspects of his company. He runs sales appointments and production jobs, answers phones, and completes job inspections – he has no problem jumping in wherever he’s needed. He loves the roofing industry and, in particular, serving his customers and solving customers’ problems. Interacting with customers and watching his team members grow both personally and professionally are some of his favorite parts of being a business owner.

Outside of work, Gene likes to spend time with his family. He also enjoys traveling, fishing, and collecting memorabilia from Coca Cola, Pepsi, and the brewing industry.

It is rare that a house job is done on time, well done, and meets all promises made. Thank you. We paid more possibly but got what we paid for. The quality of the roof was obviously so much better than the original builder had done. The crew was hard..

On time, got busy right away and did a nice job. These guys checked and made some minor repairs on two other downspouts not on my repair list. Will definitely use Bone Dry again.
