To our customers:
The conditions regarding coronavirus (COVID-19) continue to change. Bone Dry Roofing continues to take necessary precautions within our offices and with our customers in the field, per CDC and local government recommendations.
COVID-19 has changed some of our normal processes but has not impacted our ability to provide or deliver services to our customers. Per the Bone Dry COVID-19 Company Plan, the following practices are in place:
- Team members are taking temperatures daily before coming in to work. Those who are ill/with fever are to remain at home and not come to the office. Anyone who becomes ill while at work will be sent home immediately. Any employee who is ill, caring for someone who exhibits any signs/symptoms of COVID-19, or has been exposed, will be quarantined from the office for 14 days. The employee must be fever and symptom free for 72 hours before returning to the work.
- Bone Dry Roofing is requiring all employees to wear masks while in the office when social distancing is not possible. This includes in all common areas, as well as shared office spaces as required.
Bone Dry continues to practice effective sanitizing and hygiene in our office spaces. While we have some employees working from home, for those employees that are in the office, we are providing social distancing workspaces as recommended, industrial air filtration, as well as partitions, redesigned workspaces and staggered work times.
The following steps continue to be taken to provide touchless/social distancing services:
- We will use technology to utilize touchless virtual inspections and estimating for your roofing, roofing repair, masonry*, gutters, insulation, interior/exterior repairs/services*, heating & cooling* needs. (*available in select locations.)
- Bone Dry offers touchless free inspections & estimates. There are times when an in-house inspection is necessary (ie: to assess attic insulation, diagnose a leak, etc.). In-house inspections and interaction will be approved by the homeowner at the time of the appointments.
- As an alternative to presenting in-house, Home Solutions Specialists will present in an open-air environment; i.e. garage with door open, covered porch, or arrange video conference call appointments (Google Hangout or alternative digital platforms) to review your project. Again, this is based on homeowners’ preference and comfort level.
- If you do not have internet access, we will arrange other accommodations, such as a printed proposal delivered via US Mail or make other arrangements.
- Our Home Solutions Specialists are taking additional disinfecting precautions
- Screened for symptoms daily before reporting for work
- Masks will be worn at all times per state and local leadership mandates.
- Increased disinfecting of all equipment, tools, and trucks after each appointment and at the end of the day
- Hand washing, or use of hand sanitizer, after every interaction, and covering mouth when coughing/sneezing into tissue or arm
- Avoiding close contact, instead implementation of touchless/social distancing appointments/inspections/estimating
- Customer Service and Finance team members are available
- Our customer service team will confirm your appointment 48 hours before your scheduled time.

As a family-owned business for more than 30 years, it is important for us to communicate our processes and policies during this pandemic in order to keep our customers and employees safe and well. We will continue to monitor the rapidly changing conditions of COVID-19 across the nation.
