212 Degrees

Blog

“At 211 degrees, water is hot. At 212 degrees, it boils. And with boiling water, comes steam… And with steam, you can power a train.”

According to authors Sam Parker and Mac Anderson, by raising the temperature by one extra degree, you make enough of a change to power something huge. 212 The Extra Degree explains this change as putting forth the effort to achieve what you originally thought was unachievable.

“212 is not only a message of action- it’s a message of persistent and additional action- the continual application of heat (effort) to whatever task or activity you undertake in order to achieve not only the primary objective you seek, but to reap the exponential rewards that are possible by applying one extra degree of effort.”

The extra degree essentially means having: confidence, a positive attitude, responsibility, and determination in every job/action you take.
