Roof repair and roof maintenance go hand in hand, as good maintenance will limit the scope of repair jobs. Minor tasks such as sealing leaks and replacing damaged shingles will preserve the life of your roof and maintain its quality. Additionally, it's often possible to put off the major expense of total roof replacement by making small spot repairs as necessary.
If you have issues with leaks, damaged shingles, or wood rot, Bone Dry Roofing is the local roofing experts you need. Our complete roof repair services will ensure that your roof is restored to ideal condition and has the proper weatherproofing.

This customer was getting their chimney siding repaired, and discovered why it needed repaired in the first place. The decking underneath the side paneling was all rotted through and had extensive water damage. Bone Dry tore this bad decking off and replaced it with a brand new sheet of OSB decking.
This customer had horrible damage to their chimney on their roof. Underneath the side paneling, they discovered ruined decking that was rotted and had caused water damage to spread around the chimney. Upon repairing the chimney, the Bone Dry repair team made sure to make sure it wouldn't have to suffer from water damage again.
This homeowner decided to go with the upgrade Bone Dry offered and chose to add synthetic felt onto their roof. Synthetic Felt is laid over the decking on the roof and under the shingles, and is a way to lock up any excess moisture that may get to it. This is a barrier so that the water doesn't go straight to the decking, and cause rotting and water damage, which then means getting that decking replaced. In the long run, synthetic felt can save you a lot of money.
This chimney in Eaton, Indiana was in a world of hurt. Unfortunately the area where the roof meets the siding on the house had been inadequately protected and over time moisture was leaking inside, causing the wood to rot away beneath the surface without the homeowner even knowing! The wood had gotten so rotted over time that the siding around the chimney needed to be replaced and both sides of the chimney that touched the roof needed to be torn off and replaced to ensure that there wouldn't be any further problems with this in the future.
Our crews were happy to be able to go out and provide peace of mind to this customer that had been having roof leak issues for a very long time and have had other contractors come out to repair the problem, but were never really able to get to the bottom of the issue. Thankfully our experts here at Bone Dry were able to address the issue and ensure that this problem will no longer be a recurring issue for this new member of the Bone Dry Family!
This customer knew it was time for a roof upgrade, to not only up their curb appeal, but to get stronger, and more durable shingles put on their roof, so now they are especially ready for the cold months filled with ice and snow that are coming soon.
This relatively small section of damaged shingles needed to be replaced with the winter months coming. The extremely steep slope of this roof meant it posed an interesting challenge, but our repair guys were able to tackle the repair and ensure the area would be moisture tight going into these cold winter months! Thanks guys!
This customer knew it was time for an upgrade and a reroof on their house. With the cold weather approaching fast, with ice and snow, this customer was very smart to call on Bone Dry to come and make sure their roof was reaady for anything. Now the roof looks as good as new, and is sturdy as ever.
This outdated skylight was dull and in need of an upgrade. Our crews love every opportunity that they have to use ice and water shield and not only make a roof more efficient but also make it a positive experience for every customer. This skylight had a couple of qualities to it that made it unique, but at the end of the job it was not only better looking but more efficient all around! Great job guys!
Due to a couple unique specifications the new skylight that the homeowner called for didn't perfectly fit the existing opening where the skylight was and where the new one would go. And in an "all things are possible" mindset, our crews reframed the entire opening and made the desired window fit perfectly! Great job guys!
This customer had their roof redone by Bone Dry, and now their new roof has not only upped their curb appeal for their home, but it is now going to keep the customers safe and dry throughout the entire winter.
The top of this homeowners cupola roof was peeling and the siding on top was falling off. This lets wind, rain, and ice and snow in and it leaves the roof weak. To make sure the roof stayed strong and kept the weather out. The Bone Dry repair team went and added some paneling to seal that up and make sure it was a good strong top of the roof so that nothing will leak in and cause damage to the rest of the roof.
This customer's chimney was weak and in need of repair. Chimney's are an important part of the roof, and if your chimney is weak then it can lead to weakness and damage throughout the rest of the roof. Chimney's really aren't that much different to roofs when it comes to repairs. The chimney's need good strong decking and tools to help prevent water and ice damage. Bone Dry fixed this chimney so that the homeowner could rest assured that it is as safe and secure as the rest of the roof.
This customer's chimney got all the care and attention from our Bone Dry repair team that it needed. Bone Dry not only added new siding to the chimney, but also underneath all the layers, they added synthetic felt, so that any water that may soak through would be absorbed up. Now thanks to Bone Dry the chimney will stay nice and dry.
This roof was undergoing some serious issues when it was discovered that an an area had been subjected to a substantial amount of moisture damage where the valley met the gutter line. Our roofing specialists see things like this relatively often and know the most efficient way to address the issue. Our crews tore off the old algae stained shingles and followed up by installing ice and water shield as an extra layer of protection and finishing the repair with the install of the matching shingles over the top.
Now the area is far more efficient and will not be causing damage to the rest of the roofing system.
This customer not only upped their curb appeal, but Bone Dry also gave them a brand new, and sturdy roof. With synthetic felt, and ice and water shields securing and sealing up the home, this roof is ready for whatever gets thrown its way. If your roof is worn out, Bone Dry can help!
Here is a good before and after of the shingling around a pipe boot that very obviously needed to be replaced in order to keep any moisture from getting in and our crews were able to hand fabricate a shingle that fit perfectly around the pipe boot and it looks like it should have all along! Great job guys!
This customer wanted to get this area near their chimney fixed up because it was old, and susceptible to water leaking through on those valleys on the roof. The Bone Dry crew came out and made sure the area was secure from any water damage, and to make sure that portion of the house was secure.
This customer received new shingles for their roof and on some places of their house where it is more susceptible to water damage. Several portions of decking were replaced and we added ice and water shields so as to make sure the roof stays bone dry! Now the roof looks better than ever for curb appeal, and the customer knows that their house is fully protected.
This customer had some places on their roof that had bad decking, which can lead to water damage to the rest of the roof and the home itself. One particular part they had water damage on was a dormer on their roof. Bone Dry replaced this section of bad decking with a new sheet of OSB, and now that part of the roof that was once susceptible to water damage, is no more, thanks to Bone Dry paying attention to those details of the roof.
This customer had flashing and flashing tape installed under their window where water can easily seep through and into the home, where the roof meets the side of the house. Now Bone Dry has made sure this portion of the roof is leak free!
This customer thought it was time to get their roof redone and upgraded. With the cold wet months coming soon, they were smart to call on Bone Dry to come out and make their roof not only look better for curb appeal, but keep their home safe and dry for the winter, and many more seasons to come.
This homeowner had a reroof project recently completed on their home. The pipe boots on their roof were in some need of repair as well, just like the rest of the roof. The shingles around the old pipe boots weren't very secure, and the pipe boots themselves were old and need of replacing. Bone Dry pays attention to every detail when it comes to roofs, and makes sure that there isn't a single spot left weak on your roof, to ensure your piece of mind, and to ensure a safe roof to live under.
This homeowner had their roof redone. The decking they had under their shingles was still in good shape, so to keep it that way, the homeowner upgraded with Bone Dry and had synthetic felt and ice and water laid down on the roof on top of the decking to soak up any excess water. Then to top it all of, they laid down brand new shingles. This not only upped the curb appeal of the home, but also makes for a sturdier, stronger, and more dependable roof.
This homeowner had a damaged box vent on their roof that needed to be removed. Bone Dry replaced this box vent with a new one, installed Ice and Water shield around the needed area, and reshingled around the area with the new Owens Corning Supreme Driftwood shingles. This roof is now in great condition!
It takes the very keen eye of a repairman with lots of experience to spot little things like these that can cause major damage down the road to the roof that would likely go unnoticed until it was too late. This slight opening at the edge of a ridge vent where it should be water tight - can let it water during rainfall, snow melt, and even debris, causing bigger issues than this slight opening. Our crews sealed and caulked a new end plug to ensure it would now be water tight as it should have been all along.
While not always necessary, mushroom caps are a great option for keeping moisture out of the pipe. More often than not, once the moisture is in, it can often point to multiple causes. The installation of a mushroom cap is a great way to keep peace of mind in those colder months!
These rain diverters were installed by one of our best repair specialists here at Bone Dry Roofing! Not only do they look sleek and seamless, but they will also serve an incredible purpose. Now this particular valley that had just been suffering the large bulk of all of the rainfall, will no longer have to suffer extensively in comparison to the rest of the roof. It is always important to look at the entirety of the situation and have a well educated specialist address the issue with an estimate based on knowledge and not simply a guess.

This customer had a leak in their roof on a rainy night, and called on Bone Dry's 24 hour repair service to come out and fix it immediately. Bone Dry put a tarp over the leak so that the rain would stop leaking into the home for the night, and put the homeowners worry at east. At a later date, Bone Dry would meet with the homeowner to discuss more permanent protection.
This vinyl sided chimney had a number of issues going on with it. When our crews inspected the area and performed a water test, it was determined that the seal and flashed area surrounding the the chimney area and down the back side of the saddle was leaking fairly severely. This led to the conclusion to apply ice and water shields beneath the shingles and flash the area correctly and then follow up by shingling the area completely. And it looks far better than before, and isn't leaking water into the rest of the house, great job guys!

Headquartered in Valley Forge, PA, CertainTeed is a leading North American manufacturer of building materials and specializes in the production of high quality roofing and other materials including vinyl siding, trim, fence, railing, decking, insulation, gypsum, and ceiling products.
CertainTeed manufactures a variety of high quality, durable asphalt roofing systems. Asphalt roofing shingles are the most commonly used covering on residential properties in the market. Asphalt’s primary purpose in roofing shingles is to serve as a waterproofing agent. Asphalt also holds the granules in place and adds to the overall strength of the roofing shingle. The best asphalt will stay flexible and will not dry out or become hard or brittle for the expected life of the roofing shingle.
Strip asphalt roofing shingles are single-layered asphalt roofing shingles typically designed to look like slate. Strip roofing shingles are usually the lightest weight asphalt roofing shingles available in the market. Built on a tough fiberglass base, each shingle provides resistance to blow-off and tearing.
Dimensional asphalt roofing shingles are manufactured as multi-layered products and provide a thicker and richer appearance on the roof (a multi-dimensional look). Dimensional roofing shingles typically are heavier weight than strip roofing shingles and usually have improved warranty protections, which can range from 30-years to Lifetime.
Premium asphalt roofing shingles are usually described as laminated shingles that have a differentiated appearance or functionality from traditional dimensional asphalt roofing shingles. These products may have designs that mimic “old-world” roofing shingles, like natural slate or natural shake roofing shingles. CertainTeed’s Grand Manor™, Presidential Shake™ and Centennial Slate™ shingles are prime examples of premium roofing shingles that provide an enhanced aesthetic appeal.
