Severe Weather

No homeowner ever wants to experience a roofing emergency, but sometimes Mother Nature has other plans. In such an event, it's important to quickly get professional repairs in order to prevent damage to the inside of your home.

Hail Damage

Imagine Tiger Woods driving a thousand golf balls at your roof and you'll have a good idea of how a severe hail storm can harm roof shingles and other roof elements (skylights, gutters, vent hoods, etc.).

Following a severe storm, your first roofing concern is whether or not the storm caused any leaks. Even if your roof does survive a hail storm without leaking, there may still be significant hail damage which compromised the integrity of the roof. That's why it's important to call in an experienced roofing expert like Bone Dry Roofing to check your roof for hail damage.

We will thoroughly inspect your entire roof and look for any signs of roof hail damage. Our expert roofers have the experience to be able to suggest the appropriate roofing services.

Do you suspect your home has hail damage? Your repair or replacement may be covered by homeowner’s insurance. After our assessment, we’ll put you in touch with our Insurance Claims Specialists.

Wind Damage

High winds can tear off shingles and/or roof decking, branches and sometimes entire trees to fall onto your home. When your roof suffers significant damage, a fast response is essential. We will provide you with temporary protection to prevent water damage and then handle all necessary roof repairs. If the damage is especially severe, we will provide you with a full roof replacement.

If high winds have caused shingles to blow loose or are missing altogether, your repair may be covered by homeowners insurance.

Ice & Snow Damage

One of the biggest concerns for homeowners during cold, snowy months is the formation of ice dams on the roof. An ice dam forms when melted snow re-freezes at the edge of the roof, trapping pools of melted water behind a frozen dam. Water trapped behind an ice dam can flow under roof shingles and leak into the house, damaging walls, floors, and other structural materials.

While you can't prevent snow from collecting on your roof, there are other things you can do to prevent ice dams from causing water damage. Some homeowners choose to focus on reducing the amount of heat that escapes into the attic, warming the upper part of the roof deck and causing snow to melt evenly. Others opt to install Roof Ice Melt Systems.
