The integrity of your roof starts with the integrity of the company that installs it. At Bone Dry, we’re as careful and diligent in growing our company as we are in repairing or replacing important aspects of your home. What you don’t see is just as important as what you do.
THE LADDER OF SUCCESS
Most people would have torn it down. But the tiny garage in Speedway, Indiana inspired Gene Judd to start Bone Dry Roofing and launch a family of companies that have become the beacon of the roofing industry. And it all started as a true family affair with Gene swinging hammers next to his Dad, as well as his Mom.
Instead of climbing onto a bulldozer back in 1989 and flattening that old garage, Gene climbed a ladder and gave it the best roof in the neighborhood. He learned firsthand, and by hand, the secrets of how to put on “one helluva good roof”. Then he figured out how to do the same with gutters, downspouts, insulation, and masonry. Everything one might need to stay dry, warm and content. A rather noble goal for what started out as just a little ‘ol roof.
As the Bone Dry allure spread, so did the company. Reaching throughout many Midwestern states and into Colorado and Florida. While these companies have slightly different names, they all have the same Bone Dry, gritty DNA. Make no mistake, these are not franchises. They are family-owned. And each one influenced by the same determined guy who turned that worn, modest garage into a model of envy for roofers everywhere. The Bone Dry Family of companies.
Whether it’s for a home, business, warehouse, apartment, church, school, or sports facility, Bone Dry is the gold standard. All without needing much gold. Because Gene has always maintained that fair pricing is a prime component of great value. After all, he would say, “That’s not just your roof up there, that’s our reputation”.
It all humbly started in a small garage. But that garage had one helluva good roof. Thirty years later, building up one customer at a time, Bone Dry has emerged as one of the largest residential roofing companies in the Midwest. A collection of family-owned and operated locations that prides itself on being a company rather than a franchise. Every member of a Bone Dry crew is trained and certified in their task at hand. That starts with respect for the homeowner and their property. Those traits learned in that garage three decades ago still guide us today.
Bone Dry Roofing has offices in five states across the Midwest, where we pride ourselves on installing quality roofing systems and solving customers’ problems. We also have sister companies in Fort Collins, CO, Sarasota, FL and Edgewater, FL.
Mission & Values
Our longevity is due to our mission of ensuring peace-of-mind for each and every customer through exceptional service. At Bone Dry, we believe in always doing what’s right. Always. In our minds, there are no shortcuts to excellence. You’ll find delivering on our promises and exceeding your expectations are part of our core values. And we have no problem shouting it from the rooftops. The very rooftops we take pride in installing. How’s that for conviction?
Our Leadership & Team
With over 300 employees company-wide it’s difficult to show everyone on the Bone Dry team. While you’ll likely see other smiling Bone Dry crew members at your home, we wanted to make sure you also saw the ones who are behind every project. It’s true you may not recognize every face, but we trust you’ll recognize the character and enthusiasm in which they do their job. Because that’s the true face of the company.
Bone Dry aligns itself with well respected brands and organizations who offer quality products and dependable services. It may be your local Chamber of Commerce or the widely recognized Pink Panther. Regardless, we believe we are known by the company we keep. And that’s worth keeping in mind.
